Vince Russo’s The Brand Recap – Lack of Storylines in WWE, McMahon Sticks it to the ‘Marks’, Orton’s Subtle Message, More!

Russo wonders why Bray Wyatt got disqualified in his match against Seth Rollins, when he had nothing to do with Samoa Joe hitting the ring and attacking Rollins. This is another example of a rule that needs to be changed in Russo’s opinion. He says thank God that WWE protected Wyatt and had him lay out Joe before RAW went off the air.

Russo wonders why WWE didn’t have qualifying matches to determine the entrants into the fatal 5-way at Extreme Rules. We saw Balor get destroyed by Reigns on RAW, so why does he deserve to even be in the conversation to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title?

Russo speaks briefly about the tweets sent out by Rip Rogers and Randy Orton this past weekend. He says he agrees with the points made by both men, and he believes that Orton was actually targeting this message at the guys who work the indie style within WWE. Orton obviously can’t say that outright, so he aimed the tweets at the indie scene instead.

That sums up today’s episode of Vince Russo’s The Brand. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
