A listener calls into the show and asks Taz about the differences in filming television in the UK versus in the United States. Taz says that the first big difference that comes to mind is the travel. He recalls WWE chartering the Official team jet of the Toronto Raptors basketball team in order to get all the performers to the UK, and Taz says that jet was terrific because there was a lot of room.
Once you get to the building, everything feels fairly similar to recording shows in the United States. However, there are some subtle differences such as the camera crew and production staff. Rather than bring their entire team over to the UK, WWE hires local freelance workers to do those types of jobs when they record shows in the UK.
He says that Vince McMahon and his closest colleagues would travel over in McMahon’s private jet, and at the building everything was business as usual for McMahon and company.
Tas says that he always had a great time working over in the UK, and he thoroughly enjoyed the trips over there. He says that the fanbase is very passionate, and they made each show a memorable one.
