Speaking about Braun Strowman’s recent surgery, Taz says that surgery to an elbow or shoulder can be really difficult to come back from sometimes. He points out that you have to land on your shoulders and elbows every time you bump, so that makes life difficult. In addition, when you’re coming off of this type of surgery it makes lifting and training very tough, so you can lose some of your size.
Taz speculates what impact this injury might have on WWE’s Universal Title storylines. He says that the Universal Title is pretty much up in the air right now, because Strowman will be out of action for 6-8 weeks. He points out that WWE may have Strowman return and attack Lesnar right out of the gate, setting up a program between the two big men for the Universal Title.
Taz says that Strowman’s absence will be a hinderance to RAW, but this might actually benefit the big man in the long run. He adds that ‘attractions’ like Strowman and Lesnar are easier to replace than ‘mat technicians’ like Finn Balor and Seth Rollins.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
