Ross asks LaPrade if thinks two women will ever main event a WrestleMania. LaPrade says that he doesn’t think WWE is ready to make that jump at this point, but if there’s one woman out there who’s capable, it’s Ronda Rousey. He believes Rousey could main event with either Charlotte or Stephanie McMahon. Other than that, he doesn’t think the other women are at that level at this point.
LaPrade points out that there are multiple up and coming women on the indie scene who he’s very impressed by. One in particular is Tessa Blanchard, who reminds him of RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. He believes Blanchard has the same charisma and tone which would allow her to get under your skin as a ‘bratty’ heel.
That sums up today’s episode of The Ross Report. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
