The Taz Show Recap – Raw Analysis, Guest GM Doesn’t Work, What’s the Key to Turning Someone Babyface? More!
Taz thought last night’s episode of RAW was ‘okay’, and he points out that nobody can complain about a lack of wrestling on last night’s show.
Taz doesn’t understand why Sheamus and Cesaro came out on top of the tag team turmoil match, because Sheamus and Cesaro have been in that spot for weeks now. WWE made a big deal of this turmoil match, but ultimately we just ended up with the same number one contenders we’ve had for the last while.
He says that he’s not a fan of the ‘guest GM’ angle, and he definitely wasn’t a fan of the ‘C0-guest GM’ scenario which we saw play out on last night’s RAW. If for some reason Kurt Angle couldn’t make it to this television taping, why couldn’t we hear the audio of that phone call between Angle and Dean Ambrose?
Taz also didn’t like that Dean Ambrose actually said Finn Balor’s name while announcing The Miz’s opponent. He believes Balor would have received a bigger pop from the live audience if Ambrose simply teased Miz’s opponent, and then Balor’s music hit. Taz also points out that WWE could have used this announcement as a hook leading into their commercial break, which would have kept fans anxious to find out Miz’s opponent when RAW returned from commercial.
