Ryback is joined on today’s show by his co-host Pat Buck.
Ryback informs that it has been one year since he decided to leave WWE. It has been a great year for him since leaving the company and he has accomplished a lot of his personal and business goals. He’s just coming off of shoulder surgery and as soon as he recovers from that, he’ll be 100% healthy for the first time in years. He says that life is great right now and he’s really looking forward to what the future has in store.
Buck feels that the peak age for a wrestler is 35. After that, everything starts to deteriorate. Ryback believes that it varies from person to person, based on how you take care of yourself and treat your body. He believes that if you really take care of yourself you can wrestle into your fifties, especially with the advancements in medical technology.
He informs that during his entire WWE run – right from his debut in NXT until the day he left – his shoulder was injured. He had surgery on his shoulder when he was in FCW, and it never fully healed correctly. Because of this, his entire WWE run was hampered by only having one healthy shoulder.
