Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar Plans Being Pulled?

[adace-ad id="652493"]

As previously noted, Braun Strowman has an elbow injury and it will require surgery. Dave Meltzer discussed the injury on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio and mentioned that because Braun has still been active, the surgery is only minor.

In regards to how long he will be out of action, it is unknown exactly how long he will sit out until he actually has the surgery done. Right now, WWE doesn’t plan on having him appear at the Extreme Rules event in June and his planned match against Brock Lesnar at The Great Balls of Fire event is up in the air. This means WWE will have to “re-tool” their plans and have Lesnar face someone else on the card if Braun can’t recover in time.

As of this writing, it’s unknow exactly when Braun suffered the injury. It could have been done during the table spots at a recent WWE Live Event. WWE found out about the injury prior to the RAW tapings on Monday.
