Blocks 1 & 2:
A listener calls into the show and says that it appears that WWE loves having their hometown talents lose. Taz says that this has been going on forever, and he actually has no issue with it at all. It’s an easy way for WWE to get heat on the heel who beats the hometown talent, and Vince McMahon has certainly taken advantage of those situations over the years.
Another listener calls into the show and says he’s very concerned with WWE’s utilization of Bray Wyatt. Wyatt struggles to win big matches, and even though he held the WWE Title for a while, he failed to retain the Title against Randy Orton at WrestleMania this year.
Taz agrees entirely and says that he felt WWE should have kept the WWE Title on Wyatt for a longer run, and he was surprised to see Wyatt lose the belt to Orton at WrestleMania. He hopes that Wyatt’s recent ‘House of Horrors’ win will provide him some momentum, and hopefully WWE will take care of him creatively moving forward.
Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz if there is any truth to the rumour that he once legitimately beat up a referee who he thought was attempting to steal the show. Taz says that there is no truth to that statement at all. He’s never had a situation where a referee went into business for themself like that, and he has never legitimately hit a referee.
