Is Adam Cole Headed to WWE?

Adam Cole’s contract with Ring of Honor expired over the weekend and he is now free to work anywhere he would like.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that “everybody wants to sign Adam Cole right now.” Meltzer believes that Cole going to WWE is not a lock right now, but feels that’s where he will eventually end up.

Cole has a match against Hiroshi Tanahashi at the upcoming ROH War of Worlds pay-per-view event on May 12. While Cole’s contract with the company is up, he may continue to work on a per date deal until he decides to sign with someone.
