Taz opens today’s show by discussing last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW. He thought that the show was below average and the main event triple threat match between Finn Balor, Seth Rollins and The Miz really saved the show. He will get further into his thoughts of this match later in the show.
Taz thought that Alexa Bliss reached another level with her promo work last night. He’s been a fan of hers for a while and she continues to grow weekly as a performer, but last night she really commanded the ring.
Taz says that there appeared to be a couple of ‘botches’ during the tremendous main event match from RAW last night. He says he doesn’t care about botches as long as they don’t risk injury because everything doesn’t need to look ‘perfect’ in a wrestling match.
More often than not things shouldn’t look flawless in a wrestling match because if you watch any kind of ‘real’ physical combat sport, things never look pretty. He thinks when everything looks overly choreographed and ‘too pretty’ it takes away from the legitimacy of the match. He says the main thing is that everyone comes out of their matches uninjured.
