Dinner with the King Recap – House of Horrors Match Disappoints, Working at WrestleMania, Relationship with Bret Hart/Taz, More!

Jerry Lawler is joined on today’s show by his co-host Glenn Moore.

Lawler says that he was really looking forward to watching the House of Horrors match between Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton at the Payback PPV on Sunday. He has always been a fan of horror movies, so this match really appealed to him. Unfortunately, the match didn’t live up to his expectations and he admits that he may have expected too much from this match.

He says that these two guys certainly had a great fight, but there wasn’t really anything scary about it. With the buildup that this match received and with a name like ‘House of Horrors’, he expected there to be more horror inspired elements included in it. For this reason, he was dissapointed that this basically just turned out to be a fight in a house.

He had no issue with the match that these two guys put together and he says that Orton and Wyatt are two of his favourite Superstars in WWE right now. Unfortunately, his love of horror films led to him having high expectations for this match and it simply didn’t deliver any thrills for him.
