Young mentions that he injured his elbow in a match in January. He had Tommy John surgery, and he’s been working hard every since to get back in the ring as soon as possible. He says that he should be cleared by June or July to get back to action in the ring.

X-Pac asks Young what happened to the original Prime Time Player manager, Abe Washington. Young informs that Washington said things on social media that he shouldn’t have said. The company had also told Washington to be careful with what he said during the matches because he had a live mic, and unfortunately he crossed the line on numerous occasions.

Young informs that his most recent gimmick with Bob Backlund was his idea. He approached Vince McMahon with some visuals and the idea that Backlund could be his life coach, and McMahon bought into it immediately. Young isn’t sure what he’ll be doing when he returns, but he admits that he might have to take a turn to the ‘dark side’.

That sums up today’s episode of X-Pac 1, 2, 360. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
