10 of the Worst PPV Names in WWE History

December to Dismember

If you read any list of the WWE’s worst PPVs of all time, chances are you will find ECW December to Dismember fairly high up on that list. The event is infamously bad and effectively killed the ECW brand dead in one night, drawing in one of the lowest buy rates in the company’s history and giving us a card that matched its viewership in terms of quality.

Everything about this show sucked and the name was also particularly bad. The name had been used over a decade before by the original ECW and had been dropped by them in favour of ‘Holiday Hell’, which tells you all you need to know about how popular the name was.

Giving the name a second chance was clearly an attempt by the WWE to drag in some old ECW viewers- clearly, it didn’t work.
