10 of the Worst PPV Names in WWE History

Global Warning

WWE are never ones to shy away from a good pun, or a bad one as 2002’s Global Warning demonstrates.
The WWE’s first big event in Australia was taking place in 2002 and the company clearly wanted to make an impact with a special show just for them. Instead of just going for the obvious ‘WWE: Down Under’ title, they opted instead to go for ‘Global Warning.’ Get it? Me neither. The thinking behind the title must have been that Australia is hot, and because of that, it has more to do with global warming than any other country in the world.
