Jericho asks Joe if there were ever any plans for him to have a role at WrestleMania. He says that there were several ideas floating around throughout the day, but it just didn’t happen. He says sitting there and watching that show was like sitting at the SuperBowl and not being allowed to play. However, being there gave him a greater appreciation for the amount of planning and production that goes into WrestleMania.
Joe informs that he wasn’t a fan of his initial NXT theme, and Triple H could sense that. Triple H approached him one day and asked him to send in some samples of music he’d like his theme to sound like. Joe sent in some samples, and they came up with his current theme which he’s a big fan of.
Joe says that he’d love to have a match with Brock Lesnar at some point in the future. He thinks it’s something the fans would love to see, and he believes he and Lesnar would be able to put together some great matches and make a lot of money. He points out that he’s known for his physical, believable style, and if you’re working with Lesnar your work has to look believable.
That sums up today’s episode of Talk is Jericho. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya next week for another recap!
