Mauro Ranallo indicated to Newsweek last week that he and WWE had reached an agreement of sorts. Ranallo told Newsweek, “WWE and I have mutually agreed to part ways. It has nothing to do with JBL.” Dave Meltzer gave a complete rundown in the latest installment of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and mentioned that there is a chance that Mauro could always return to the company.
According to Meltzer, there has been some preliminary dialogue about Ranallo returning, however it is not on a serious level and it is far from a certainty at this time. The belief is that Mauro could come back and WWE could push the company as being behind mental health awareness and use him as an advocate.
The belief right now is that this is far from a lock, but we will keep you updated if talks become serious.
