Blocks 1 & 2:
A listener calls into the show and asks Taz what WWE is doing with Roman Reigns? Taz says he has no idea what WWE is doing with Reigns right now. They killed him off after having him defeat The Undertaker at WrestleMania, which made no sense to Taz at all. He’s beginning to think that WWE is planning a complete repackage for Reigns, because at this point they almost have to.
Another listener calls into the show and asks Taz which finisher was the hardest to take on a consistent basis. Taz says there wasn’t really any finisher that he was concerned about taking, but he admits that some things hurt more than others. He says that lying on a table and waiting to take a flying elbow from Sabu was never fun, and taking Bam Bam Bigelow’s punches always hurt as well.
In terms of one specific move, he can recall taking Rob Van Dam’s thrust kick from the top rope at one point and since Van Dam was so accurate, he caught Taz right in the throat. Taz rolled out of the ring and was actually unable to speak for a long period of time before he eventually got his voice back.
