Ross opens today’s show by sending best wishes to Dash Wilder, who suffered a fractured jaw recently and will be out of action for two months. He says that The Revival will come back better than ever because they have two months to heal the rest of their bodies and study their body of work.
Ross says that he liked RAW this week, mainly due to the fact that Strowman started and finished the show. Ross believes that Strowman is a fascinating prospect who he was lucky enough to meet at WrestleMania this year. Ross wonders if it might be tough for WWE to continue to book Strowman as a bad-ass villain, because a lot of fans will want to live vicariously through this monster.
Ross says he gives WWE’s brand split a solid B+ so far, because it has provided a significant opportunity for several Superstars to take a leap forward. He believes that if you’re not consistently working to get better, you’re cheating yourself and the company. Luckily, lots of WWE Superstars have taken the bull by the horns thus far and are making the best of their new opportunities.
