Dave Meltzer reported in the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Dean Ambrose vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship title is a possible match for the upcoming WWE Payback event.
As of this writing, seven matches are currently confirmed for the event. Those matches are:
House Of Horrors Match
Bray Wyatt vs. Randy Orton ©
RAW Women’s Championship
Bayley © vs. Alexa Bliss
United States Championship
Kevin Owens © vs. Chris Jericho
RAW Tag Team Championship
The Hardy Boyz © vs. Sheamus and Cesaro
Cruiserweight Championship
Neville © vs. Austin Aries
Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
WWE will probably announce the Intercontinental Championship match on RAW next week. They still have yet to announced a Kickoff Pre-show match. It’s very possible that this could be that match.
