Cornette speaks about his experiences in Orlando during WrestleMania week.
He comments on the fact that some people were surprised that he didn’t bury anyone from WWE during his Hall of Fame induction speech for the Rock N’ Roll Express last Friday night. Cornette says that he did not want to return to WWE and talk bad about people. It would reflect poorly on him, the Rock N’ Roll Express, and anyone else from that era who has the potential to ever become a Hall of Famer.
Cornette went into the event with the mind frame that he was going to shake the hand of anyone who approached him to say hello, even if they had bad blood in the past. He informs that Triple H came up and shook his hand as soon as he saw him, and said he was looking forward to the Cornette’s speech. Stephanie McMahon also approached him and gave him a hug.
He says that wasn’t the time to litigate the Curtain Call for example, and he has nothing to complain about during the 45 second interaction he had with Triple H.
Over the weekend he was able to record some great content for the WWE Network as well. He says that WWE has an incredible production staff who knows how to get things done, and that was a refreshing change compared to some of the production staffs he has worked with more recently.
