Bischoff on Wrestling Recap w/ DDP – WrestleMania Thoughts, Hall of Fame Experience, Burying Heat with Flair, More!
DDP admits that he had heat with Ric Flair throughout his career. One day he realized that he didn’t want to think negatively about anyone anymore, so he approached Flair at a signing one evening and they squashed their beef. He was thrilled to see Flair this weekend, and they were able to spend a lot of time together.
He says that there are so many good people backstage at WWE, and it’s so nice to be able to attend events like this and catch up with everyone. Bischoff agrees and says he was particularly happy to touch base with Vince McMahon for a moment. He also met Sheamus for the first time and Bischoff says that he’s a class act. DDP adds that it was wonderful catching up with Big Show, who’s in the best shape of his life right now.
A listener writes into the show and asks Bischoff who’s the one talent he’d choose to face The Undertaker, if he could have made it happen. Bischoff says that the one key match that we were never able to see was Undertaker versus Sting, and he thinks that would have been a terrific spectacle if it would have happened.
Bischoff says he’s not a fan of the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame. He believes the Hall of Fame should be solely about the wrestlers who sacrificed and took the nearly impossible journey to becoming a star in the professional wrestling business.
That sums up today’s episode of Bischoff on Wrestling. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
