Russo welcomes former WWE Diva Jillian Hall to the show.
Hall informs that she was hesitant to come on Russo’s show because she typically avoids podcasts like the plague. She has a lot of heat with the internet wrestling community which has torn apart her personal life on occasion, so she doesn’t like talking about her past. Russo says that’s one thing that they have in common, because he deals with a lot of hate from people on the internet as well.
She says that she never made a good babyface but she was a natural heel. She never wanted the attention that babyfaces often seek, and she felt much more comfortable while she was making babyfaces look good in the middle of the ring and putting them over.
Hall believes that she was doomed from the start after Vince McMahon decided to have her debut on WWE television with a giant mole on the left side of her face. She says that she was confused by this idea right from the start and she had no idea how she was going to get that gimmick over.
Russo says that doesn’t surprise him because even though McMahon presents himself as a complete professional, he has a sophomoric sense of humour. He often came up with ridiculous ideas like this while Russo was working with him. Russo recalls one time when McMahon wanted Dustin Runnels (Goldust) to wear a nude-coloured onesie, and call him ‘The Naked Guy’.
