Jericho welcomes Big Cass to the show.
Cass informs that sleep is very important to him, and when he was working in NXT he made sure that he was getting 8 hours of sleep every night. It was a lot easier for him to do that then because he was sleeping in his own bed every night. Once he started travelling with the main roster, than came to a quick end. At this point he’s sneaking naps in wherever he can, but his biggest issue is the fact that he can’t fall asleep on airplanes.
Jericho asks Cass how hard it was to stay patient in NXT while waiting to get called up to the main roster. He says that they didn’t really let themselves get their hopes up during their entire NXT run, but around WrestleMania last year they began to feel like something was up. Triple H pulled them aside two nights before WrestleMania and told them they were going to debut on the RAW after ‘Mania.
Jericho asks Cass if he was surprised by the reaction he and Enzo received when they first debuted on RAW. Cass says they weren’t really surprised because the RAW after ‘Mania is typically filled with hardcore fans and most of those fans are familiar with NXT. For this reason he wasn’t shocked at all that the crowd already knew their catchphrases.
He thought the reaction that they received that night did them a lot of good in the long run as well. Even if you’re watching at home and you didn’t know who they were, the fact that the live audience was so excited and singing along with their catchphrases probably made you think that they’re going to be important pieces in WWE moving forward.
