The Taz Show Recap – RAW Underwhelms, Undertaker Passing the Torch, Cruiserweights Moved to Pre-Show, More!
Taz opens today’s show informing that he will be doing a live 3-hour post-WrestleMania special this Sunday night at 11PM. The show will be airing on CBS Sports Radio and it’s affiliates. As always, we’ll have the recap for you here at Ringside News.
Taz says that he was not a fan of last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW at all. The main reason that he was let down by the show is that there was no ‘punch’ for him, and this is especially troubling on the go-home show for WrestleMania. He understands that a lot of people are putting in a lot of work on these shows, but last night’s show pulled up short in his opinion.
He really liked that The Undertaker’s graphics took over RAW’s cold open last night. He thought that was very creative, and it made him think that this was going to be a great episode of RAW. Unfortunately, once we got into segment one of the show, things only went downhill from there.
Taz says he’s a huge fan of Bayley, but having her kick off RAW last night with a promo was a very poor way to set the table for the rest of the show. Taz feels that you need an over the top character with an ‘explosive’ personality to kick off a show of this importance. Sure enough, by the time Charlotte came out and began her promo the fans were chanting ‘CM Punk’. The talents aren’t to blame for that, that a creative issue.
