Ryback doesn’t understand how these things were leaked, and some people have suggested that Brad Maddox is to blame for the leak. Ryback doesn’t see any reason for Maddox to leak those pictures and videos because it doesn’t benefit him in any way. In addition, it puts him in a dangerous position legally.
Buck believes that ROH will eventually be sold to WWE. ROH is not making any money right now, and he thinks after WrestleMania WWE will acquire the promotion. This will allow WWE to take ROH’s tape library and add it to the WWE Network, and then he thinks WWE will shut down the promotion’s operations. From there, ROH talents can be used in NXT.
Ryback admits that might happen, and he feels that NXT needs more creative attention moving forward. Triple H has been focused on a lot of different things recently like WrestleMania & United Kingdom tournaments, and NXT has seemingly fallen down on his list of priorities. Ryback says that after ‘Mania, Triple really needs to dive back into what’s happening at Full Sail.
Ryback talks about some memories from WrestleMania 29. Sheamus participated in the opening match that night, and Ryback mentions that a lot of people have been critical of the way Sheamus works. Ryback admits that Sheamus works stiff, but he’s a big angry Irishman and he has to work that way or Vince McMahon will criticize him. Ryback never had an issue with the way Sheamus works in the ring.
