A listener calls into the show and asks Taz who fans are supposed to cheer for in the WrestleMania match between Undertaker and Roman Reigns. Taz says that even though WWE hasn’t turned Reigns heel, there’s been a lot of heel overtones in Reigns’ presentation over the last few weeks. Taz thinks this is smart because when facing The Undertaker, there’s no way the crowd is going to cheer Reigns anyways.
Taz thinks that WWE will have Reigns work as the heel during the match, where The Undertaker makes a couple of comebacks before eventually being stifled by Reigns. Taz thinks that Roman Reigns is going to win this match, but he’ll get more into the details of his WrestleMania predictions next week.
Taz says that WWE has one last opportunity to insert Finn Balor into the Universal Championship match at WrestleMania, and that last chance is coming on RAW next Monday. Taz feels that Balor should make his return and be inserted right back into the main event picture. Balor was the inaugural Universal Champion, and the last time we saw him he was handing over his Title in the middle of the ring.
He says that if Balor were to be inserted into the match between Goldberg and Lesnar, it would be such an easy story for the announcers to tell. It would be David versus two Goliaths, and when Balor somehow emerges victorious at the end of the match it’ll be a huge stepping stone for Balor moving forward.
