Speaking again about the Tag Team Title match, Taz thought all 4 men in this match performed admirably. He criticizes David Otunga’s commentary work during this match, as he felt Otunga should have been more focused on creating sympathy for and then putting over the babyface team, instead of speculating about Jason Jordan’s happiness since he was married over the weekend.
A listener calls into the show and says that there are too many similarities between Seth Rollins’ and A.J. Styles’ storylines heading into WrestleMania. Both talents are rising up against authority figures who they believe are holding them down, but Taz says he doesn’t really see any issues between having some similarities between these storylines. They’re on different shows, and they have been presented in different ways, so he doesn’t have any issues with it.
Taz comments on Jan Ross’ terrible accident, which has left her in critical condition at a OU hospital. Taz sends his thoughts and prayers to Jim and Jan, and he mentions that Jan is a wonderful person. He had the pleasure of meeting Jan multiple times during his wrestling career, and she was always incredibly nice to him.
He feels horrible for both Jim and Jan. He mentions that Jim and Jan share an incredible bond that transcends marriage and that was very evident from spending time with them over the years. He really hopes from the bottom of his heart that Jan can power through this.
