Blocks 1 & 2:
Taz opens today’s show talking about last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW. Taz says that last night’s show didn’t really feel like we are two weeks away from WrestleMania. Although the last segment featuring The Undertaker felt important, there weren’t many other memorable moments from the show.
He felt that even during that final segment featuring Reigns, Undertaker and Strowman, WWE somewhat dropped the ball. For the second time now, Braun Strowman has been presented as the ‘third wheel’ in this angle and Taz thinks that’s a mistake. He feels that Strowman should be presented as a more credible threat.
He thought Stephanie McMahon cut a good promo to open the show, when she fired Mick Foley. He also liked Triple H’s heel promo where he challenged Seth Rollins to show up on RAW next week. Although, he admits that Triple H’s pandering to the crowd for cheers was somewhat confusing, and the promo seemed to drag towards the end.
Taz also felt that last night’s show was filled with video packages, and that really slowed down the pace of the show. He’s usually a fan of WWE’s video packages and while WWE does a great job with their videos, you have to give fans some actual wrestling action at some point as well. Last night’s show seemed to really lack in-ring action.
