The Ross Report Recap w/ Pete Gas – From Fan to Superstar, Working with Rock/Austin, Shane McMahon’s WWE Return, More!

Ross speaks about the passing of Tom Jones & Dennis Stamp. Ross says that Jones was a very good man who he had the pleasure of meeting in 1974. Jones was a great worker who’s career was unfortunately restricted by the fact that he was African American.

Dennis Stamp also died this past week at the age of 70. Stamp was another terrific worker who’s well known for his role in the documentary ‘Beyond the Mat’. Ross sends his condolences to the family and friends of both Jones and Stamp.

Ross congratulates Christopher Daniels for finally reaching the summit in ROH and claiming the ROH Championship. He says that Daniels earned every bit of success he is having and he had a terrific Championship match with Adam Cole, who did the right thing here by passing the torch. Ross says it’s a poorly kept secret that Cole may be on his way to WWE in April.

Ross still believes that Brock Lesnar will defeat Goldberg to claim the Universal Title at WrestleMania on April 2nd and in Ross’ opinion, Lesnar should hold that Title for an entire year. Lesnar’s contract expires after WrestleMania 34 and at that event in New Orleans, Ross would have Lesnar drop the Title to Roman Reigns before he rides off into the sunset.
