Bischoff mentions that Glen Jacobs (Kane) is taking some time off from WWE to take a stab a politics. Bischoff says Jacobs is one of the smartest guys he has ever worked with, and they often spoke about politics during their time working together in WWE. Bischoff informs that he speaks with Hulk Hogan regularly and they are very close friends. The only thing they don’t speak about is Hogan’s relationship with WWE. If Bischoff had to guess, he would guess that Hogan will not be at WrestleMania on April 2nd, just based on everything that has transpired between Hogan and WWE over the last couple of years.
Bischoff welcomes Shawn Michaels to the show.
Michaels informs that the reconciliation he had with Bret Hart on WWE television several years ago was very real. They’ve since kept in touch and have worked several dates together. He believes they’re in a great place right now and it’s a very pleasant relationship.
He admits that they aren’t best friends and they don’t have a lot of things in common, but that doesn’t mean they can’t have respect for each other and be friendly. He believes their reconciliation was very healthy for both of them, and allowed them to move on from everything that had happened many years ago.
