Bischoff opens today’s show by congratulating Christopher Daniels on capturing the ROH Championship. He says that working with Daniels in TNA was one of the most pleasurable parts of working for that company, because he had a terrific working relationship with both Daniels and Kazarian. He says Daniels is a very hard worker who certainly deserves this Title run.
Bischoff comments on the current legal battle between Impact Wrestling and The Hardys. He believes that the language in the agreement between both parties will play a pivotal role here in determining who owns intellectual property of the ‘Broken’ gimmick. It will be interesting to see how this plays out when more details of their last TNA contract are known.
Speaking about Jack Swagger’s release from WWE, Bischoff says it was certainly unusual for a contracted talent to publicly speak out about his unhappiness within the company. WWE obviously didn’t take too kindly to this, because they have sent out an official press release informing that Swagger is released.
Bischoff comments on the Big Show’s inclusion in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, all but putting an end to the rumoured match between Big Show and Shaq. He says that Big Show is at a stage in his career where he knows this may be his last WrestleMania, and he got himself into terrific shape for this match. He feels bad for Big Show, but he thinks Show will shine in the Battle Royal and things will work out fine for him at ‘Mania.
