Conversation with the Big Guy Recap – Confronting McMahon at WrestleMania 31, Daniel Bryan In-Ring Return, Underutilized Talents, More!

Ryback discusses the potential of a Daniel Bryan in-ring return. Ryback is well aware that Bryan wants to wrestle again, but WWE’s doctors have refused to clear him. He says that Bryan went out just about the best way possible in this business, but it certainly wasn’t on his terms. Buck says Bryan might possibly leave WWE when his contract expires and make a killing on the indies.

With a child on the way, Ryback wants Bryan to do what’s best for him and his family. While family is certainly a major consideration for Bryan, there’s no doubt that he’s struggling with not being able to wrestle, and happiness is a very important thing in life. Ryback understands that WWE is protecting themselves in this case, and nobody can blame them for that.

Ryback feels that Roman Reigns’ merchandise sales is the only reason why WWE hasn’t turned him heel already. Ryback feels if WWE takes a step back and turns him heel at the right point, you can flip him back babyface later and have the fans fully behind him at that point. Ryback says he loves Reigns, and he’s a great guy.

Ryback thinks it’s ridiculous that WWE couldn’t come up with something creatively for one of their hottest acts at WrestleMania – The New Day. Ryback admits that New Day probably aren’t upset because they’re featured at ‘Mania as the hosts, and they’re going to make a lot of money and not have to bump once.
