As previously reported, Chris Jericho’s band Fozzy will be touring during the month of May and Jericho will be taking time off from WWE. Twenty-two dates were advertised for The Fozzy Tour with Monday’s left open for Jericho. This led many to speculate that Jericho would tour and also still appear on RAW for WWE, however that’s not the case.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Jericho is not booked or advertised for any WWE events while he is touring, so don’t expect him to pull double duty. Jericho has also mentioned in previous interviews that he likes to keep professional wrestling and his rock band separate. He doesn’t want to do both at the same time.

Meltzer also added that Jericho is scheduled to work the June 5th Extreme Rules pay-per-view event. It’s very possible that Jericho returns to WWE right before that show.
