The Taz Show Recap – RAW Analysis, Strowman Backs Down, Hardys in NXT? More!

Block 2:

When Lesnar first walked out to the ring, at first Taz thought it was strange that WWE didn’t promote this appearance. Why would WWE not promote a face to face confrontation between Goldberg and Lesnar? It would have surely helped their ailing ratings, and could have created significant buzz around last night’s show. As the segment went on however, Taz realized that having this type of surprise confrontation helped RAW moving forward on the road to WrestleMania.

During the heights of the Monday night wars, RAW was a very unpredictable show. Having this kind of segment occur out of the blue with no promotion sends a message to fans that anything can happen on any given Monday.

Taz did not like the fact that Undertaker and Braun Strowman came face to face last night, and he especially didn’t like that Strowman backed away. He’s not arguing the fact that this gave us a very cool moment, but he feels that given the way Strowman has been booked over the last few months he should not move backwards from anyone, including The Undertaker.
