X-Pac says he was at RAW last week when The Rock attempted to call CM Punk in the middle of the ring once the show went off air. X-Pac was in the Gorilla position when that was happening, and one Producer was on the headset instructing employees to cut The Rock’s mic.
It’s fairly obvious that The Rock can get away with an awful lot in WWE these days, but this move certainly garnered him some negative attention backstage. X-Pac says that nobody was overly angry, but it was more of a, “Come on, man!” reaction. X-Pac is certain that The Rock knew that kind of move would rustle some feathers, but he obviously doesn’t care.
X-Pac informs that after April, he’s done wrestling independent dates for the year. It’s not a retirement but his body is in desperate need of a rest, so unless he really needs the money or he’s re-hired by WWE, he won’t be wrestling anymore this year after April.
It was reported this past week that Erick Rowan has been medically cleared for a return to in-ring action, and X-Pac says he’s glad to hear that. He’s very high on Erick Rowan, who he says is incredibly smart and very good in the ring. He also says that The Wyatt Family has turned out to be a very successful stable with all former members either in the main event picture, or in the process of working their way to the top.
