The Taz Show Recap – NXT Analysis, Lesnar Interfering at Fastlane, Jack Swagger Heading to Impact? More!
Blocks 3 & 4:
Another psychology issue Taz had with the Women’s Championship match is that when Ember Moon did her run-in, she walked. Rather than storming out of the curtain and down the ramp, Moon walked the entire way and showed no urgency whatsoever.
Taz thinks this was a critical error in terms of wrestling psychology, and he thinks someone in the backstage area needs to talk to the younger talents in NXT to ensure their wrestling psychology is up to par. He adds that if talents made those types of psychology errors on the main roster Vince McMahon would throw a fit.
A listener calls into the show and says that Impact Wrestling could be letting all of these talents walk because they want to save money. Taz disagrees and thinks that Impact is trying to re-sign their top talents, because without big name talents, the company can’t get paid for television deals.
A listener calls into the show and says he thinks Goldberg is going to defeat Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship at Fastlane this upcoming Sunday. The caller also suggests that Brock Lesnar may even get involved to help Goldberg win so then he can compete for the Title at WrestleMania. Taz admits that’s a possibility, but he doesn’t think WWE will go that route because we haven’t heard Lesnar talk about the Title as motivation for him for a long time.
That sums up today’s episode of The Taz Show. You can listen to the show yourself anytime here, and I’ll catch ya tomorrow for another recap!
