Bischoff opens today’s show speaking about the potential WrestleMania match between Big Show and Shaq. He says that he likes this match because Big Show isn’t involved in any major WWE storylines right now, and Shaq is a mainstream personality who can draw eyes to the product.
From what Bischoff has read, the match may be in jeopardy because there seems to be a divide in the negotiations. Shaq has issued a statement where he partially blames Big Show for letting the negotiations fall through, and Big Show has responded by saying that Shaq doesn’t want to be involved in this match because he hasn’t been training properly for WrestleMania.
Bischoff comments on Raven’s statements this past week, in which he said that after the death of Kanyon he started to realize that suicide may be the only way out for some people. Bischoff says that some people have to realize that when they say things through social media, their audience is far bigger than they could ever imagine.
He’s not sure that Raven’s comments were meant in the way that they have been perceived, but sometimes you need to sit back and think about what you’re about to say before you send it out into the world.
