Bryon Saxton’s Current Status With WWE

Byron Saxton was moved off of SmackDown’s commentary desk when Friday Night SmackDown started on FOX. Now Michael Cole and Corey Graves are manning the desk with Renee Young as a “special contributor.”

The former blue brand announcer Tom Phillips has new role in WWE on NXT UK, but Byron Saxton has yet to reemerge.

PW Insider has confirmed that Saxton is still employed by WWE. He just doesn’t have a current on-screen assignment. It was not noted what he is doing for the company in any capacity at this time.

Byron Saxton has a lot of experience and could be used in a few roles both on and off-screen. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear anything regarding when fans might see him next.
