It's a question every wrestling fan has asked himself, will there ever be another period in the WWE like the 1980's or the "attitude era"? And why shouldn't we ask ourselves that question, what defines that era? Is it "the guy" coming along to change the face of wrestling forever? Or is it a group effort where during those periods literally every wrestler on the roster was a star. If you're a hardcore wrestling fan, you're familiar with all of the "eras" of wrestling and their respected leaders, but for history's sake lets go into it.

1. 1984 - 1992 (The Hulk Hogan Era)

This goes without saying that it was the era that started it all. Vince McMahon had just purchased the WWE from his father and had great visions for it. Of course Vince's father wouldn't of sold his beloved business to even his own son had he known of Vince's desire to make it global. With the way things where set up in that day, wrestling wasn't one or two big companies like we've come to know, it was many, smaller territories. I find it interesting that a lot of people accuse WCW of being bad guys for taking all of WWE's talent in the late 90's. You see Vinnie Mac did just that in the early 80's. Vince McMahon jumped from territory to territory in the early 80's offering to buy out the running promotions, to which they all laughed in his face. It would actually be Vince who ended up laughing as he and Hulk Hogan brought the WWE to unprecedented heights from 1984 to 1992. However towards 1992, the WWE wound up on the end of a steroids scandal. As Hulk Hogans body flattened out, so did the fans interest in wrestling which led us to the Bret Hart era.

2. 1993 - 1997 (The New Generation)

At this point in time Vince McMahon was faced with a harsh truth, no longer was he able to provide a show with guys that looked larger than life. People where waiting for Vince to slip so they could say that his wrestlers where using steroids again and they where on Vince like white on rice. Vince decided to change the landscape of wrestling to a product that featured good, technical wrestling matches. It was at Summerslam 1992 that a light bulb went off in Vince's head. Vince had put Bret Hart vs The British Bulldog in the main event of Summerslam and they pulled off a masterful match, this was when Vince believed Bret Hart could be a main-eventer. It wasn't long after that Hart showed up to a house show in Saskatoon,Canada where he got the news from Vince. Bret walked into Vince's office who had a big smile on his face - "I'm putting the belt on you" he gleamed. Hart has mentioned he was too shocked to speak, or smile. Hart won the WWE title from Ric Flair that night thus starting "The New Generation."

The New Generation featured some of the greatest matches in the history of the WWE like the legendary Iron Man Match from WrestleMania 12 and countless others. Even though the wrestling was good, the ratings where bad. This was the lowest point profit wise for the WWE in history. I really do love this era though and it showed how much good wrestling matters. The era would come to an end when a certain bird flipping rattlesnake came onto the scene in 1996, leading us to "The Attitude Era".

3. 1997 - 2003 (The Attitude Era)

It's somewhat arguable on what actually started "The Attitude Era" in wrestling. Many people point to Hulk Hogan's heel turn at Bash at the Beach 1996 and formation of the nWo as the beginning. In my mind, the seeds of the era where planted with Stone Cold Steve Austin's King of the Ring 1996 speech -"Austin 3:16 says I just kicked your ass". And how could we forget, the formation of the Vince McMahon heel character at Survivor Series 1997. Bret Hart was out of the company now, leaving Vince McMahon, DX and Stone Cold to take the WWE to heights it had only seen once before. People who laughed at the idea of wrestling where now flipping the bird like Stone Cold, or doing the "crotch chop" like DX. Wrestling was cool, wrestling was hip and there was over 8 million fans watching a week to back that claim up. The WWE was able to maintain momentum and stay hot for a decent amount of time, it was when Stone Cold Steve Austin officially announced he was done with wrestling that I believe the "Attitude Era" ceased to exist anymore.

4. 2003 - 2005 (Brand Extension Era)

In 2002 the WWE was loaded with talent, mainly due to coming off one of the greatest era's of all time and the purchase of rival company WCW. The WWE decided it was time to do a brand extension, separating their main roster into two separate Raw and Smackdown rosters. The main leader around this time seemed to be Triple H, who dominated Raw as the heavyweight champion. During this period interest in wrestling once again began to die out. The WWE never did fall to the low it did of "the new generation" era during this time, but the ratings where down substantially. There seemed to be a glimmer of hope that showed up on Smackdown in 2003, the fans where cheering him even though he was a heel, sound familiar? That mans name was John Cena.

5. 2005 - Present (The John Cena Era)

The WWE had two different roads it could of gone with John Cena. One, they could of continued there "attitude era" style and kept John Cena as a basic heel, while having the fans cheer him. That's the way I would of gone and undoubtedly the way most fans would of liked things to go. And two (sigh), the road that the WWE has obviously taken, is to make him into a corporate clone good guy who says lines that would rival a Blues Clues show. Well it's sad for me to say that I believe The John Cena Era is the biggest artistic failure in WWE history. The numbers have stayed okay and the WWE continues break PPV buy-rate records, but there's something missing from the product that I grew up loving and watching.

So where does that leave us now? Will there ever be another era where wrestling becomes a phenom again? It's hard to tell. The WWE has changed their way of doing business so much that maybe we will never see another "golden" era. It's just a bit hard for me to imagine a bunch of writers who had just been on a "Friends" sitcom creating the next Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin. But hey we can all dream can't we?

Thanks for reading as always leave comments good or bad!

**Twitter.com/ParodyWrestling**

So WWE finally did something right. Yes it has happened. The reemergence of the Hennig Family. Joe Hennig aka Curtis Axel. The newest member to the WWE and Heyman Family. I was so waiting for this to happen I love that hes using a re-vamp of his dads theme too.

Larry The Axe Hennig:

Before pursuing a career in professional wrestling, Hennig became the Minnesota State High School Heavyweight Champion from Robbinsdale, Minnesota in 1954. He was awarded a scholarship from the University of Minnesota to wrestle and play football but had to quit due to the priorities of family and raising children. In 1963, Hennig entered the AWA under the tutelage of Verne Gagne. He eventually found some main event success and shared a brief Tag Team Championship reign with Duke Hoffman. But in frequently losing to rougher, more experienced wrestlers, he began questioning the scientific style instilled into him by Gagne and looked toward a different approach (in kayfabe).

Championships and accomplishments: AWA Midwest Tag Team Championship (1 time) With Lars Anderson , AWA World Tag Team Championship (4 times) - with Duke Hoffman (1), Harley Race (3), NWA Brass Knuckles Championship (Amarillo version) (1 time), NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship (1 time) - with Curt Hennig, IWA Tag Team Championship (1 time) - with Bob Windham, George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee (Class of 2006)

Curt Mr. Perfect Hennig:

Curtis Michael "Curt" Hennig (March 28, 1958 – February 10, 2003) was an American professional wrestler, manager and color commentator who performed under his real name for the American Wrestling Association (AWA), the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). In the WWF, he found his greatest success as Mr. Perfect, a nickname introduced in his second run with the company which gradually became his official ring name. Hennig used the same ring name in his third and final run, however, his real name was widely acknowledged. He was the son of wrestler Larry "The Axe" Hennig, and father to current WWE (formerly the WWF) superstar Curtis Axel. Curt ran the AWA WWF and WCW before his untimely death.

Championships and accomplishments: AWA World Heavyweight Championship (1 time), AWA World Heavyweight Championship (1 time), AWA World Tag Team Championship (1 time)– with Scott Hall, FOW Heavyweight Championship (1 time), i-Generation World Heavyweight Championship (2 times), MECW Heavyweight Championship (1 time), NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight Championship (1 time), NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Championship (3 times)– with Larry Hennig (1), Buddy Rose (1) and Pat McGhee (1), PWI Most Improved Wrestler of the Year (1987), PWI ranked him #9 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the year in the PWI 500 in 1993, PWI ranked him #55 of the top 500 singles wrestlers of the "PWI Years" in 2003,
PWI ranked him #98 of the Top 100 Tag Teams of the "PWI Years" with Scott Hall in 2003, WCW United States Heavyweight Championship (1 time), WCW World Tag Team Championship (1 time)– with Barry Windham, WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship (1 time), WWF Intercontinental Championship (2 times), WWE Hall of Fame (Class of 2007), Wrestling Observer Newsletter Most Improved (1983).

Curt was one of most favorite wrestlers of WWF back in the day He never really was a main event champion, but Curt was the one I would say at that time that ran the top of the Mid Carders. It is a shame that he's gone already and didnt get the chance to be a Tag team Champion with the his son like he was with Larry. Curt left and after he went to wcw he fizzled out of the spot light. Curt will be missed.

Joe Curtis Axel Hennig:

Joseph Curtis "Joe" Hennig (born October 1, 1979) is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to World Wrestling Entertainment under the ring name Curtis Axel. He previously wrestled at their developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). He was part of the second season of WWE NXT. He is the grandson of Larry "The Axe" Hennig and the son of WWE Hall of Famer Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig. This kid debuted with the Nexus and WWE developmental. He came in like a bush on fire and then was gone. I was waiting for him to come back in as a Mr. Perfect Jr. and WE got just that this past week. I love that fact that they are using his dads name and the theme it makes it the much more special. I see really big things here for this kid. I can't wait to see him use the PERFECT PLEX as the finisher PLEASE. Curis Axel has a the look and the name to push him to the top very quickly. Now that he has knocked out HHH on RAW debut this gives him the push he deserved months ago. I look forward to the top matches with Jericho, Cena, Miz, Orton just to name a few. I really do hope they leave him as this and no tag team partners. I see so much of Curt in Joe here it's mind blowing. The attitude he has with the character is going to make him a WWE or WWE WHC soon. I'm waiting for the IC title match between Curtis and former Nexus leader Wade Barrett, I'm waiting for the US title matches as well. Curtis will Be a champion really soon.

Championships and accomplishments: FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship (1 time), FCW Florida Tag Team Championship (3 times) – with Heath Miller (1), Brett DiBiase (1) and Kaval (1), PWI Feud of the Year (2010) The Nexus vs. WWE, PWI Most Hated Wrestler of the Year (2010) as part of The Nexus, PWI ranked him #114 of the top 500 singles wrestlers in the PWI 500 in 2010, PWI Rookie of the Year (2008), WWE Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with David Otunga, AND SOON THE WWE US CHAMPION, WWE IC CHAMPION, WWE CHAMPION, WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION. This is one of the greatest family in wrestling history so I wish Joe Curtis Axel Hennig the best in WWE from here on out. So to end here on a note. The highlights of the event would have to be with The Shield capturing the gold. These guys have came a long ways since their debut with the company, and whoever is in charge of their booking deserves a pat on the shoulder.

The Ryback vs. John Cena bout also stood out a lot at last night's event. They had lots of good spots where they demonstrated that Ryback is a dominate force. As far as the outcome of the match goes, I don't think I could have booked a better ending. Reason why, if John Cena defeated Ryback clean, Ryback would look very weak with his loses starting to stack up against him. Had Ryback won the WWE Championship, Cena would have looked like a weak force as well, as it was his first title defense since defeating one of the greatest of all time, The Rock.

Anyways, those are the two matches that I liked the most. Feel free to leave feedback, or send in yours.

Tonight WWE will present their annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view event which is headlined by John Cena vs. Ryback in a last man standing match for the WWE Title. This is WWE's post-WrestleMania pay-per-view, and if it's anything like last years event, then I believe fans will go home happy.

Below are a few of my picks from tonight's matches.

John Cena vs. Ryback in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Title
In one of the most anticipated matches of the night, John Cena will go up against "Bad Boy" Ryback. This match is one the matches I am looking forward to the most. It pretty much decides which direction they are going to go with Ryback, one of WWE's hottest and fastest raising stars in the company. If they are serious about Ryback as one of the top WWE Superstars in the company, they will book him with a defeat over the face of the company at tonight's event.

My prediction: As much as I would like to see Ryback destroy Supercena and win the WWE Championship title tonight, I dont see that happening. I predict that John Cena will get beat throughout the whole match and then overcome the odds and defeat Ryback. Will there feud end here tonight? I think not.

Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H III in a steel cage match
This match I am looking forward to the most. The build for this match has been much better then their WrestleMania build, and probably has the best build for any match on the card.

My prediction: This feud doesn't appear to be winding down, and I don't see Brock Lesnar losing back to back pay-per-view matches. Brock Lesnar will be over Triple H tonight, and they will probably meet up for a forth time down the road.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger in a #1 contender I Quit match
Probably the only match on the card I am not thrilled about. I was excited to see Ziggler in action, but due to his concussion they changed the match around and now we have to watch this crap.

My prediction: Alberto Del Rio gets over Jack Swagger and goes on to face Dolph Ziggler for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Mark Henry vs. Sheamus in a strap match
This match should be both interesting and entertaining. WWE has not done a strap match in about a minute. This is another one of those matches that I am looking forward to tonight.

My prediction: Mark Henry over Sheamus. I don't have many supporting comments on to why I picked him. This is one of those matches that are in the middle of an on-going feud before they decide to end the angle. I feel these two will still meet up one or two more times, so the outcome is up in the air.

Big Show vs. Randy Orton in an Extreme Rules match
These two Superstars have been going at it for awhile now.

My prediction: The feud between the Show and Orton isn't quiet over. WWE keeps putting emphasis on the fact that Orton is in his home town, and I think Orton will go home a loser tonight. Also, Orton is featured on the next WWE pay-per-view promotional poster, Payback. Show will win in a cowardly way tonight, and the two will meet at next month's event.

Chris Jericho vs. Fandango
Since Chris Jericho was return, he has been putting WWE Superstars over in a big way, which is good for the company. They need someone who can still draw, but help put people over, unlike John Cena.

My prediction: Fandango one ups Jericho again tonight.

Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs. Kane and Daniel Bryan in a Tornado Match for the Tag Titles
Finally, The Shield gets some shot at some gold tonight. Kane and Daniel Bryan has been victims of The Shield almost their whole entire reign as Champions.

My prediction: I have been saying this for the longest time now, but Kane & D-Bryan's Championship reign needs to come to an end, and tonight has got to be the night, and what better way to do it by putting over one of WWE's hottest group?

Dean Ambrose vs. Kofi Kingston for the United States Title
Man, I wish they would have gave this match more time to build. It seems like it was slapped together 10 minutes before Smackdown was taped.

My prediction: Dean Ambrose over Kofi, just because.

The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes
Another match that seems to have been just slapped together last minute. Hardly any build.

My prediction: The Miz because he will probably go on to feud with Wade Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship next.

That is it for my predictions. Feel free to leave feedback below.

RingsideNews would like to hear what you think what will go down at Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view. If you would like to be heard, please send in your predictions by using our form at this link or email me at SteveCarrier@Ringsidenews.com.

-----------------

RSN Member Steve Thompson sent in the following:

WWE Extreme Rules is upon us! Looks like a solid show, though I do expect WWE to provide us with at least one bonus match. Here are some of my thoughts/predictions on tonight's PPV.

Tonight's Pre Show: The Miz vs Cody Rhodes

-This should be a decent match, good way to get the crowd excited. Cody is good at making people hate him, but at the same time I'm not entirely convinced that Miz is over as a face. Against a strongly hated heel, perhaps. But on his own, I'm not so sure. I expect Miz to pick up the win, though I'd like to see a Cody Rhodes push. In due time, I'm sure. Can’t' push everyone at once.

Fandango v Chris Jericho

-I'm a Jericho fanboy, not gonna lie. But the Fandango character intrigues me. As long as WWE adds depth to the character, then I don't see his momentum dying down anytime soon. Jericho is good at putting guys over, it's what he accepts as his role in WWE now. Classy guy. I'd expect Chris to pull off a win here, and maybe continuing the feud. If they get enough time, it could be a really good match.

Extreme Rules Match: Randy "wants 2 B heel" Orton vs Big Show

--There's a leaded video teasing the PPV "Payback". In the video, Orton is hearing "voice" and hearing to be losing his sanity. As if he ever had it. Some say this is a sign of a heel turn in the works for Randy. While I sincerely hope so...I wouldn't be so quick to get my hopes up. WWE, they are many things, one of which being masters of teasing something and never following through with it. Randy has expressed his desire to turn heel and the WWE Universe (well, the IWC I guess) agrees. Will we see it happen? Not likely to happen tonight, though you never know. It will at some point though, I'm sure. Then Randy can get back in the title hunt and thrive as a villain once again. The winner of tonight's match: My pick is Orton.

Strap Match: Sheamus vs Mark Henry

--I'm really enjoying Mark Henry's work as of rate. His intensity is unmatched. He's also bringing out the best in Sheamus. WWE needs to add something more to Sheamus's character in order for him to remain over with the the fans. This strap match should prove to a "slobberknocker", as Jim Ross would say. I'm curious to see how creative they get with the straps. My pick for winner? I'd like to see Henry win, though it's more likely Sheamus.

Tornado Tag Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship-Team Hell No (Daniel Bryan & Kane) vs The Shield (Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins)

--The tag division WAS seeing a bit of a revival for a while, but it fizzled out a bit. This should be a solid match; all 4 men are great workers. I expect to see a few cool spots from Bryan and Rollins. I expect The Shield to come out victorious and win the gold. Team Hell No has had a great run, but it’s time for new champs. The Shield as a whole is on a roll for sure. I expect great things from them. Which leads me to…

Dean Ambrose (The Shield) vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE United States Championship

--Should be a great match…both are very gifted workers. Expect a few high spots. I’m very interested in see Dean Ambrose show the world what he capable of. WWE seems to have high expectations of him, and I expect him to meet and surpass those expectations. I look for all three members of The Shield to walk out of Extreme Rules with gold around their waists. The sky is the limit for these three. As for Kofi, who knows. WWE goes back and forth all the time as to whether or not they want to push him. Will he ever main event? Well, I’ll say this. Not as a babyface. Kofi needs a darkside.

Triple H vs Brock Lesnar III-Steel Cage Match

--Honestly, I’m so tired of seeing these two go at it. However, it’s big money whenever Brock is involved, so that’s why WWE is giving us a third match between these two. It should be very physical, hard hitting. I would expect this to be the last match of the series. Not sure what is next for Brock. A feud with the Rock is seeming unlikely at this point though WWE would jump at the opportunity to do Rock/Brock at Wrestlemania 30. We’ll see I guess. My pick for this match: Brock Lesnar.

Side Note: I truly hope this doesn't end up being a PG show. Cable and satellite previews show it as listed TV-14. Let’s hope so. Can’t have a real Extreme Rules show under PG limitations. WE WANT BLOOD. Or something like that.

Alberto Del Rio vs Jack “I’ll be irrelevant again by 2014” Swagger-“I Quit” Match-Number One Contender status for World Heavyweight Championship

--No Ziggles tonight. Dammit. Oh well, wish him a speedy recovery. Concussions are serious business. Honestly, guys…this match is going to bore me. I’m not convinced that Del Rio is over as a face, much like I said about The Miz. And Swagger, while talented and very gifted...sigh. I don’t know. Not sold on him, I guess. Should be a decent match though, I guess. I wonder if the crowd will even care who wins. My pick for winner: Alberto Del Rio. He’ll move on to feud with Ziggler for the title. Looking forward to that.

Ryberg..err…Ryback vs John “super” Cena-Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship

--Cena isn’t losing so early in his reign. And if anyone has been paying attention here on RSN, I am NOT a fan of Ryberg. I cannot get past the clear and apparent Goldberg ripoff. And not just that, the guy is big and strong, but that’s about it. No real charisma. It’s just not believable to me. Just my opinion guys, I’m not a Cena fanboy…but I expect him to him after taking a predictable beating for most the match and retain his title. I hope this feud is done after this PPV.

So there it is. Should be a solid PPV…though I’m sure at some spots it’ll be less than watchable. If you’re watching with us here on RSN…you pretty much shouldn't complain about a bad PPV anyway, considering you didn't pay for it. However, I know some will. And that’s okay. The world needs whiny bitches too.

Hope you enjoyed reading and enjoy tonight’s Extreme Rules PPV.

I just wanted to throw out some thoughts and prediction on the upcoming ppv Extreme Rules. I haven't done a blog in a while so I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. So, this past Wrestlemania 29 has come and gone. The hype machine has slowed down a little. Rivalries have come and gone. Some new ones have been born now that the dust has settled.

The first one I'd like to touch on is Ryback and his new heel turn. After a loss at WM29, it seamed like there wasn't much for him following a loss to Mark Henry in Henry's backyard. He's been in quite the slump. Several losses to Punk and I've lost track how many beatdowns from the Shield, what was next for Ryback? Maybe a one-way ticket to Superstars. Nope, you've won a shot at the WWE Championship! (Insert Bob Barker voice here) So how long is Cena going to be champ? Will his reign be short or will be extra long like Punk's?

I'd love to see Ryback take out Cena. Honestly, Cena does absolutely nothing for the title. OK, so Ryback winning doesn't make the championship more prestigious, but after everything Ryback has been through this past year I'd say he deserves a shot. I say put him as champ for a while, see how he does. And who knows, in a Last Man Standing match this Sunday, someone may help Ryback finally get the WWE Championship.

Next we have Ziggler vs...oh wait, there's no Ziggler in this WHC match this Sunday. Just as I was finally getting excited about this match, what happens? He gets a concussion. I've never been a Swagger fan, but now he has even more people frustrated with him. Thanks a lot Swagger, I officially have gone back to not caring about this rivalry again. Hopefully Ziggler is not gone too long. I'm also glad he hasn't been stripped of the belt. Its also a good sign that the people in the office are behind him too. So we have Swagger vs Rio, and its not in a Ladder Match? This will officially be my "go get a beer" match. Get well soon Ziggy!

What's funny about Extreme Rules is the match I have a feeling is going to headline or finish the ppv, and that's Lesnar vs HHH. I could be wrong but we might have the Cage Match at the finale. This is part 3 in this rivalry that has gone on for several months now. The only way that Lesnar can save himself from total embarrassment this Sunday is to walk out of Extreme Rules as the winner. And after feeling a little cheated from WM29, I'm expecting something big to happen. What I would love to happen, and I know I'm going to extremes here (insert knee slap) is to see HHH get beaten so badly that he has to step down from his position, and Heyman has to take over as the new "boss" of Raw/Smackdown. A Heyman takeover is long overdue. Lesnar can install fear into just about everyone in the company. Who would step up to him? Not many on either roster would. Which makes me think that the segment of Lesnar in HHH's office holding the WHC belt is really foreshadowing of the future. I see Lesnar walking out of Extreme Rules with more than just a victory.

Extreme Rules will also bring out Chris Jericho vs Fandango part 2. They put on quite a match at WM29 and shocked many as Fandango came out with a win. I have not heard a stipulation for this match, but my girlfriend says it should be an Extreme Dance-Off. What that means, I'm not sure, but this follow-up from the last ppv should be as good if not even better than their first encounter. I see Jericho stealing this victory, and even possibly the girl at the end of this.

A few other matches I'm not too concerned with, but should still be entertaining, are the Big Show vs Orton and Sheamus vs Henry. A good old fashioned Strap Match is what Henry and Sheamus are going to endure at the ppv. And I really can't remember the last time I watched a strap match. This will be by far J.R.'s favorite match of the night, no doubt. You know he'd be screaming about being whipped like a government mule somewhere in here. (Pause for reflection of the good ol' days) I see Sheamus being a winner here. The Orton vs Show match is going to be an Extreme Rules match where anything can happen. Weapons and chaos should put the frustrations of a loss to the Shield to rest.

Speaking of the Shield, big things are really starting to happen for them. For those you who really know me on here, you know I'm a huge fan of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, the Hounds of Justice. Team Hell No is going to have their hands full this Sunday, as they are going to have to face Rollins and Reigns in a Tornado Tag Match. I expect this match to be nothing short of incredible. Having watched these teams go back and forth the last few weeks has made it quite obvious to me that Kane and Daniel Bryan have finally met their match. Team Hell No has been defeated before by the Shield at other ppv's but the Tag Team Championships haven't been on the line. The Shield say its an injustice that Team Hell No has been holding the belts for so long. With Kane and Bryan often sorting out there differences with each other and hugging it out in front of the WWE Universe, we've seen this team go through many highs and lows. Unfortunately for them I see this Sunday being the last of their reign over the tag team division. Rollins and Reigns will be holding the gold, I mean copper. And for the third member of the Shield, Dean Ambrose, he'll be facing Kofi Kingston for his United States Championship. This will be the other highlight of the ppv for me personally. This is a rivalry that deserves more than one week in the planning in my opinion. But nonetheless, this will be a great competition with some of the best action of the night. Usually we see 3 on 3, but it will be refreshing to see the Shield split up into separate matches. The WWE Universe will once again see just how Extreme the Shield can get.

This ppv may possibly end up being a lot more exciting than WM29 was. I have heard many people say they were disappointed in the "show of shows" this year. I don't see that happening this Sunday though. Any guesses about this Sunday for the RSN Universe? You can leave your own predictions below in the comments.

And as always....You're Welcome.

WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, who sees the ballroom gimmick as a pet project of his own, is also said to be pleased with the way things are going.

It's not only the gimmick that is getting high marks backstage - the in-ring work of Johnny Curtis is also receiving praise.

WWE agent Terry Taylor, who previously worked for TNA before being brought back to WWE by Triple H to work in development, took Curtis under his wing in development and made him one of his own pet projects as well. Fandango's success has shut up some of Taylor's critics that questioned his ability to help develop new talent.

Here are some of the highlights.

On the recent mocking of a Chris Jericho segment and disrepecting him; "What I felt bad about is that I disrespected Chris, who was obviously been in this business longer than I haev. He's one of the legendary greats of all-time. Moe importantly than all of that, Chris is a friend of mine. Believe it or not, I felt bad. I felt bad for a number of reasons, because I didn't go to Chris and explain to him what happened, so he had to hear through the grapevine that next day. So he wasn't happy with me. We ironed things out and he's a great guy."

Here is the full video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vVT6p8gwOmQ
