AEW wasn’t taking any chances for their latest set of television tapings. They recorded an episode of Dynamite live from Daily’s Place this week. The company also recorded next week’s episode while they were at it. They took a lot of precautions before allowing anyone in the building including actual COVID-19 testing

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that every test from AEW’s May 5th show came back negative for the novel coronavirus. They are the first pro wrestling company to do this testing as well.

All of the tests taken as of 5/5 came out negative. AEW was the first company doing actual COVID tests as WWE was only taking the temperature of everyone involved at its tapings last week.

The UFC ordered 1,200 tests to distribute for their upcoming pay-per-view. It’s unclear if/when WWE will start giving actual COVID-19 tests, but AEW was able to make sure their entire roster and everyone else entering Daily’s Place was safe to do so.
