Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks: Repackaged or Re-run?

I DVR'd SmackDown because Fridays are reserved for some Steveweisers and evening grilling. So when I watched it Saturday morning I thought I was watching Superstars when Reks and Hawkins came out. However, it occurred to me when they debuted their new look, that maybe Magic Mike, The Dicks and Chuck and Billy had a three-way and the product was a new stripper gimmick. Yes this has been done before but The Dicks were too small and didn't last long (no pun intended) and Chuck and Billy just got creepier every week. Both Hawkins and Reks are talented workers and it doesn't hurt to tweak their image. This gimmick is not in bad taste its just something that the WWE Universe may or may not be ready for, although it has been attempted in the past.

Shawn Michaels started off like this when he broke away from The Rockers and embarked on his singles career. The women loved it while it drove the male demographic to hate him. Pretty soon it caught on with everybody and the rest is history. I'm not saying they are going to be the next HBK but let them run with it. The WWE Universe will let them know if it doesn't work. If that's the case, Reks and Hawkins are back to square one, lets just hope they don't bleach their hair blonde and wear matching headbands.
