WWE Superstars Need More & Better Finishing Moves

Nothing drives me more crazy than seeing a weak-looking “finishing move”. We’ve all seen them and they’re boring and they suck. With such a talented roster, I know these superstars can do so much better than stuff than Damien Sandow’s swinging neckbreaker, the infamous Hogan leg drops, the Skull Crushing Finale, Wade Barrett’s Wasteland, and the oh-so-dreaded Cobra Strike. Sorry to break it to you, WWE, but we don’t buy it. And some of them just look sloppy.

Re-package your guys’ move arsenal and get rid of these stupid finishers. I’m primarily frustrated about the reeeeaaaaally stupid ones (Santino’s and Miz’s). Give them more moves! Submission moves! I’ve been watching WWE for years and I find it hard to think of superstars that have ever won a match or even attempted to use a submission move.

Speaking of submission, I think the likes of Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio seriously need a new finisher besides their submission move. If anyone’s ever noticed, all they do in place of a finisher is deliver a kick to the side of head.

I’d love for more and more superstars to have a large arsenal of moves. Some examples that come to mind are:
Sheamus (Brouge kick; White Noise; Irish Curse; High Cross Powerbomb)
The Undertaker (Chokeslam; Tombstone; The Last Ride; Gogoplata submission)
Chris Jericho (Codebreaker; The Walls of Jericho; Lionsault)
CM Punk (GTS; Anaconda Vise; Diving elbow drop)
Big Show (WMD; Chokeslam; Spear; Camel Clutch submission)
Edge (Spear; Sharpshooter; Edgecution)
I’m sure I missed some, but you get the picture.

If more superstars had more variety in their move-set, the matches would be so much more interesting. And this is not hard to fix.
