Money in the Bank Predictions

So with MITB a couple days away I feel it’s time to weigh in on how I think things may go at this year’s event. This with only a handful of matches on the card four to be precise, it could be very lopsided towards a couple of matches.

Pre-show internet match: Hunico and Camacho vs. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston.

With WWE going towards a more internet savvy relationship with its fans getting into social networking and taking over YouTube really seem to be the way to go. They have been doing these types of matches for the past couple pay per views. This match really doesn’t make sense, as the prime time players are number one contenders and they aren’t in this match. (Maybe there will be a title match at RAW 1000??) Be that as it may, this should be a good high energy match with the tag team champs coming out on top.

WHC MITB match. Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Santino vs. Tyson Kidd vs. Tensai vs. Sin Cara vs. Damien Sandow.

I think this match may get a good amount of time. We have a bunch of guys who could steal the show here and Tensai. The way I see things Tensai and Kidd will counter each other with either Kidd getting destroyed again or being so focused on Tensai he will not grab the contract. Damien Sandow is beginning a feud with Zack Ryder and I don’t see him in the title picture yet. Santino is there for comic relief and Sin Cara has just returned and will be there to entertain with some high spots. I see this coming down to Ziggler and Rhodes. Rhodes and Christian are focused on each other and that may carry on for a bit. I think with Vickie showing interest in Tensai we will see the Vickie Dolph relationship end soon. I think this might make way for a face turn for the #Heel, or put him in that neutral ground between the two. I see Ziggler winning but not cashing in against Sheamus.

WWE Champions only match. Cena vs. Show vs. Kane vs. Jericho.

This is starting to look more and more like a four man ladder match which will be hard to keep entertaining for a long period of time. WWE could pull off a surprise or two yet but since this is what we have at this point here goes. WWE being what they are and Cena being who he is seems to favour him in this match but I am hoping they go a different direction here. I would like to Cena’s words that he is there to stop Show from winning the title to be true. I would like it to be only that though. That way it leaves this as a two man match between Jericho and Kane. This could give Kane a shot at another title reign before he retires. I see this title shot possibly going to Kane but at the same time I am not counting out the possibility of a return by another superstar just before the match or even during the match. (Imagine if you will all four competitors being down and out. Then you hear the word “AWESOME” come over the sound system. The Miz runs down and climbs the ladder doing absolutely nothing but claiming a title shot he still feels entitled to.)

Filler match: Hawkins and Reks vs. Ryback.
This match will likely still be a squash but it will be more competitive than most Ryback matches.

Brodus Clay vs. Jack Swagger.

This could be a filler match to get both of them on the card. Clay will win if he is in a match.

WHC match: Alberto Del Rio vs. Sheamus

This one is tough as both have dominated each other over the past couple months. Right now Del Rio seems to have the psychological advantage as he recently destroyed Sheamus with the hood of his car. He has given him an arm bar off the stage. But Sheamus has delivered multiple Brogue Kicks to Del Rio. I do feel that Sheamus will win this match because I don’t know that the WWE is ready to put the title on Del Rio again quite yet as he has been dealing with injuries. I feel Sheamus will retain and be defending the title at summer slam.


WWE Title Match: Daniel Bryan vs. CM Punk special guest referee AJ.

These two have been putting on a clinic in their past matches but they have been facing each other so much its grown old. I like AJ as the special guest referee especially with the way she has been playing both Punk and Bryan. However I think that this whole thing has been a rouse between Bryan and AJ. I think AJ will cost Punk the title and everything will unfold. I heard someone else say this as well and that person added that this would be a great way to keep AJ at the top of her game and in a prominent place in the WWE.
