Unless you have been ostracized by society then you know the animal, Batista, is back. I for one am over the moon about it and could not be happier. However, *breaks squeal* lets pump the breaks a little bit. The Royal Rumble match is and has been a staple for the WWE for years and years. Last years rumble winner was so obvious, and even though I am a minority and like him, John Cena was not who should of won last year. The Royal Rumble should go to those stars who need a push, who are the future. John Cena winnning last year was just for the obvious feud with the Rock at Wrestlemania. Now with Batista back, the WWE universe does not need to see Batista slipping into John Cena or The Rock's shoes.

Batista coming back at this time is two fold. Will he win and go to headline Wrestlemania like Cena did which would be obvious or will he go to Wrestlemania and soak up the glory that the Rock did. Batista to me is more credible than the Rock. The Rock came back, and as a champ, he showed his face for 3 matches and showed up, maybe, every other week. I do not want a Rocky 2 with Batista. I think that it would be good for Batista to go for the title. He even said on RAW he is back to get that title. However, Batista does not need the win of the rumble to get him a title shot.

The winner of the Rumble should be someone who has A.) Never main evented at RAW and B.) Someone who is fresh and can take the company to new heights. Batista has done this before. Hes been the "face of the company", and as much as I want his return to be successful he does not need to beat 29 other superstars to show that he has what it takes.

My picks for the final four are Batista, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, and Roman Reigns and hopefully Cody or Reigns wins.

Well, as much as I like your final 4 I have to say I don't agree with it. I think the winner is going to be someone we may not expect to even be there. I.E. Shaemus. However, that would be typical WWE....have the star returning from injury show up at the Rumble to win it. How many times have we s...

My final four would be: Batista, Roman Reigns, CM Punk and probably someone who has just returned (RVD, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, Jake Roberts?)..

Roman needs to be made to look strong neverless. Doesn't need to win, just needs to destroy whomever.

Cody has ZERO chance of winning the Rumble. This is likely the spot where he and Goldust's feud will start. (they'll drop the belts in the pre show and then something will happen during the Rumble that will be the beginning of the Brother vs Brother match at WM30).

Remind me when Batista was the "face of the WWE?" At best he propped up Smackdown during it's darkest days. Also, finding someone who has "never main event'd RAW" is near impossible AND why would you want that person to win the Rumble and get the main event at WM? The idea of someone fresh to win...

Hard Ace, I agree....Roman Reigns needs to look strong. And what better way, than to come out and tie or break Kane's record of 11 eliminations in one Rumble match?

Willie you can think whatever you want...but i have watched a lot about batista and when he first won the rumble and the championship he was perceived as the face of the wwe. So if you dont agree im sorry but not sorry. Thanks for your gracious comment

And you have ZERO chance to win the rumble...I am pretty sure every person in there has at least some glimmer of hope and to be honest out of the 20 that have been announced the majority probably could. Now will it be booked that way, probably not, but its possible.

You're zest and optimism is a beautiful thing. You're completely 100% correct that I have ZERO chance to win the Rumble. Unfortunately, I have the same chances a Cody and the 28 other contestants who are not going to win. Earmuffs kids, Wrestling is fake! I hope I'm not shattering your world with...

The one thing I have in common with both Rhodes brothers (other than a fantastic body and affinity for gold bodysuits) is that neither of us are going to win the Royal Rumble.
