Here's an idea the WWE hasn't done in awhile, hell I don't think they've ever done it and that's as good as gold in my view. Keeping the WWE title vacated this long is something, at least right now that I can't remember them doing. I am actually very intrigued by this storyline between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton and it really has me scratching my head on who they'll make there next WWE champ.
At first I wasn't too big on the idea of the WWE keeping the belt vacated but it grew on me and for the first time in a long time, the WWE is thinking outside of the box. Personally, I think the belt should be around Daniel Bryans waist, hopefully the WWE goes with that idea. The bearded brawler has certainty shown that he's worthy of the belt. I will admit, Daniel Bryan doesn't look like he should be the face of the WWE, he doesn't have the traditional look but neither did guys like Mick Foley. He looks more like Alan from The Hangover right now, but watch him wrestle and we all know how he can dazzle even the most cynic of critics.
Randy Orton is of course a proven commodity in the WWE and I'm glad to see him in main events as opposed to John Cena, who was starting to get boring. It may of been a blessing in disguise for Cena to get injured, nobody ever wants to see a guy get hurt, but its giving his character a nice little rest. Randy Orton has only gotten better and better since he started in the WWE and he works well with Bryan.
Only time will tell who the WWE puts the belt on, but the smart guess would be Bryan in my view. I hope the WWE continues to take some interesting twist and turns in this storyline and not blow the whole thing. All it takes is a little bit of creativity and originality to get the fans on the edge of their seats and they're finally doing it this time. Thanks for reading and as always post comments!
