Here are a few more Elimination Chamber predictions!
Pre-Show: Brodus Clay & Tensai vs. Team Rhodes Scholars
Oh boy. Brodus Clay is as worthless as Hornswoggle. He just dances there and is just a crappy knockoff of Rikishi. He is nowhere near as entertaining and nowhere near as fun to watch. As for Tensai, good Lord. I miss the Tensai that beat the crap out of Cena... Well, since these guys are newly formed, I can only see a victory for them and another way to bury two great wrestlers in Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow.
Kaitlyn vs. Tamina Snuka - Divas Championship
Kaitlyn has really changed since her days on NXT. She has developed from one of those perky girls into a badgirl style character that I really enjoy. Tamina Snuka is still awesome. She is one of the most talented women in WWE, yet she is also one of the most underutilized. Since this match didn’t really have much buildup around it, I can assume that we will see Kaitlyn retain.
Antonio Cesaro vs. The Miz - United States Championship
Antonio Cesaro is one of the most dominant United States Champions in recent memory. He has been able to destroy every opponent he has ever encountered with a Neutralizer, whether it be a smaller guy like Tyson Kidd or a bigger guy like the Great Khali. The Miz is probably one of his most challenging opponents yet. After a little bit of a buildup, I think I see a new United States Champion in the Miz.
Alberto Del Rio vs. The Big Show - World Heavyweight Championship
The Big Show has been a menacing figure in the WWE for quite some time. However, the Big Show has not been as good as he was back in 2004 before he left WWE. Now, he can’t run and can’t do things he used to be able to. He has lost his edge and excitement. Now, in his third shot at Alberto Del Rio, will he finally regain his title? Of course not. I think it is safe to assume that Alberto Del Rio will be retaining his gold.
#1 Contender’s Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - Elimination Chamber
This match is stacked with six very talented wrestlers in Randy Orton, Jack Swagger, Kane, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, and Mark Henry. These six may just put on one of the best Elimination Chambers in recent memory. These six have so much talent when combined, and all of that talent will come out in this match. Now, who do I expect to win? This is a tough question, but I believe Mark Henry will come out the victor. He is currently riding a huge wave of momentum. Now, I believe that Chris Jericho will pin Mark Henry to win the Elimination Chamber.
Team Superhero vs. The Shield
Ahh, WWE’s band of superheroes in John Cena, Sheamus, and Ryback. These three are the three guys that just can never lose. When was the last time Cena lost cleanly? How destructive was Sheamus’ title reign? Has Ryback even lost cleanly? Exactly. These three are just the epitome of never losing. It is ludicrous. They are riding a huge wave of momentum heading into this PPV. However, I do not believe they will win. I think that the Shield will somehow, someway find a way to win this match.
The Rock vs. CM Punk - WWE Championship
Finally! The Rock is WWE Champion and... Well, I am not really happy about this. Sure the Rock is amazing on the mic and sure he brings in business, but he shouldn’t be wrestling. I do respect the Rock for all he has done for the company. He helped out WWE in a big way back during the Attitude Era and was a key person in helping WWE succeed. Now, he is back and is champion. I think that he will continue to reign supreme. Sorry CM Punk, but I think that the Rock has this one in the bag.
