WrestleMania: Not Undertakers Yard Anymore?

The Undertaker doesn't like people in his yard, that goes without saying. The WWE in general has not been Taker's yard for the last few years, but damn it WrestleMania still is. For some reason The Undertaker is MIA this year, at least as of right now. Plagued by injuries it seems the Phenom is just getting a bit to run down to even wrestle once a year, which is understandable because the guy puts his body on the line every time he wrestles.



Taker has been a bona fide WWE legend since he walked on to the scene and defeated Hulk Hogan for the WWE title. Since his debut he's feuded with every main eventer from every era and made them all seem just as fresh and exciting as the previous feud. But this year we get no Taker? In the words of The Hurricane - wassup with that? We can't deny that Taker has probably stolen the show for at least the last four years, maybe it's time for someone else to steal that coveted spotlight.

The wrestling business changes with time and we all know it will always evolve. One of the cool things about The Undertaker was that he just sort of hung around with every big change in wrestling, his character never gets old. If there was one grand sendoff for The Undertaker I would have to say it would be a match against Sting at WrestleMania. Not that it seems very likely but that would be kick-ass. In reality a match that could actually happen I would have to with a match against John Cena. Like Cena or not he's been the face of the WWE the last ten years and it would only make sense to have the match.

We still have a while to see if The Undertaker will return in some capacity, I'm pretty doubtful of it at this point. The Undertaker still deserves something and it seems a bit odd to me that there's been no mention of him at this point. I was hoping for a Brock Lesnar/Undertaker rematch but that obviously seems out of the card at this point. Only time will tell but as Vince McMahon use to say - annnything can haapen in the World Wrrestling Federation. (Entertainment just didn't sound right) Thanks for reading!
