I’d like to tell you guys this is totally opinionative and these are a few of the men and/or women that I believe should be apart of the WWE Hall of Fame in the Class of 2013, or within the next few years if not 2013:
Bob Backlund: He is one of the greatest WWE Champions and had one of the longest title reigns of all time. He deserves the recognition and the honor of being a member of the WWE Hall of Fame. I believe that this has become possible, as he did come back to WWE twice this year. (Once to face Heath Slater and once to chase him down to the ring).
The Rock: He is definitely one of the greatest to ever grace the microphone. His promos were memorable and his feud with Stone Cold is one of the greatest ever. The Rock was also one of the people who shaped and made the Attitude Era great. He definitely deserves a spot, not for his current stuff, but for the stuff he did back then.
Diamond Dallas Page: DDP is one of the legendary figures of WCW. He is a multi-time WCW Champion, multi-time WCW Tag Champion among other titles. I feel that he deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame for his time in WCW, but in WWE, as he was a European and Tag Team Champion. I believe he deserves a spot sometime soon.
Mick Foley: I find it amazing that he hasn’t been inducted yet. He is known for his three amazing, yet distinct phases: Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Dude Love. He is also known for two of the greatest “Holy Crap!” moments of all time and one of the greatest matches of all time (Mankind vs. Undertaker, King of the Ring 1998). He also had another great match with Triple H as Cactus Jack in Hell in a Cell. I really hope he is inducted, as he deserves more than anyone, in my opinion.
JBL: Another legend who I feel should be in the Hall of Fame. He has a big career in WWE, from the New Blackjacks to the APA, Commentator to the Wrestling God. He is a former WWE Champion and had an impressive 280 day reign, to go along with being a 17-time Hardcore Champion, 3-Time Tag Team Champion, and 1-Time European, Intercontinental, and United States Champion. He has had a storied and memorable career that should not be forgotten, and it won’t be with a Hall of Fame induction.
This is my opinion. I believe a lot more people should be in the WWE Hall of Fame, but these are few I strongly feel should be in the Hall of Fame.
