Up or Down is where we rank everyone's momentum heading into the next week. Predictions are based on everyone's performance, momentum and storyline progression. Facts and stats are going to be used to formulate opinions.
Going Up: Ryback
Big Hungry might have lost indirectly on TLC, but he bounced back with a win on Raw. Add in the announcement he made on SmackDown that he's going to face CM Punk for the WWE Championship on the first Raw of the year 2013. That same night, he also defeated the United States Champion Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match.
Turnaround: Highly Unlikely
Going Down: John Cena
The past 72 hours has been rough for the Cenation leader. Betrayed by AJ Lee, he lost to Dolph Ziggler on TLC. The next two nights, he gets attacked by the NXT Champion Big E Langston. On a good note, John Cena did win his third Superstar of the Year Slammy Award.
Going Up: Dolph Ziggler
Mr. Money in the Bank kept that nickname and the briefcase after defeating a very game John Cena on TLC with the help of AJ Lee. That same briefcase would've won him the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw if his TLC opponent did not interfere. Thanks to his new associate, Big E Langston, he has managed to keep his momentum going upwards.
Turnaround: Highly Unlikely
Going Down: Big Show
The Big Show-Sheamus trilogy ended with the World's Largest Athlete retaining the World Heavyweight Championship. That doesn't justify the fact that he almost lost his title to Mr. Money in the Bank Dolph Ziggler on Raw. Big Show shouldn't let his guard down since Sheamus is still a threat in their back and forth momentum exchange.
Going Up: Sheamus
The Great White might've lost the big match, but he's still a threat to the Big Show. After that Brogue Kick on the World Heavyweight Champion on Raw, he has managed to keep himself in the title picture.
Going Down: Alberto Del Rio
WWE officials might be experimenting right now. Unfortunately for Alberto Del Rio, he's the lab rat. After teasing a face turn, they finally tried it on TLC and Raw. Looks like they've abandoned that idea shortly after.
Going Up: Big E Langston
Big E Langston made a monstrous WWE TV debut by taking out John Cena. He seems to have aligned himself with Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee. Aligning yourself with established superstars is always good.
Going Down: Sin Cara
The high-flyer from Mexico has been putting on botchless (that should be a word) performances lately. Unluckily, he is going to be written off WWE TV after what seemed to be a legitimate injury after TLC. The manner he was written off was brutal as well: a beat down by The Shield.
Going Up: Team Rhodes Scholars
After dropping the team of Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara on TLC and becoming the #1 contenders for the Tag Team Titles, Team Rhodes Scholars seems to be back on track. Ahh, the magic of facial hair on heels.
Going Down: R-Truth
The loss to Antonio Cesaro was not so bad. The injury was, though. R-Truth suffered a gruesome injury after their match on TLC. Expect him to be off WWE TV for awhile to recover.
