Hello. Tomorrow is Final Resolution, TNA’s final PPV event of the year. So, I’ve decided to make some predictions for it:

Kenny King vs. RVD - X Division Championship

This has been a running gag with the X Division. Matches made the Impact before the PPV event. This really kills it for me as I love matches that are built up and have some hype. This match has zero hype. However, I am a huge Kenny King fan, so this could be a potentially good match. However, I just don’t see a guy like King beating a guy like RVD. So, I predict RVD to retain the X Division Championship.

Matt Morgan & Joey Ryan vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez - World Tag Team Titles

The tag team division is irrelevant at this point. There is a lack of teams and some of the teams are just haphazardly thrown together, like Kid Kash & Gunner, which did not make sense to me. Personally, I believe that Hernandez and Matt Morgan should be in the World Title Picture or TV Title Picture instead of being trapped in the wasteland known as the TNA Tag Team Division. I don’t really see Joey Ryan & Matt Morgan winning, but I have a strange sense that they will. So, I predict Morgan and Ryan win the titles.

Mickie James vs. Tara - Knockouts Championship

This one is tough to predict. The Knockouts Division is seeing somewhat of a resurgence with the return of Velvet Sky, who I believe will get involved in this match in some way. I mean, why else would she return the Impact before Final Resolution? I feel that she will make a heel turn and distract Mickie James, then Tara will hit her with Widow’s Peak. Tara retains.

AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels - One Final Time

AJ Styles vs. Daniels is so old. We’ve seen it so many times in so many ways. I have lost interest in these two guys fighting each other for awhile. Thank God this is going to be the final time, or so they say. I really want Daniels to win, as he needs it more than AJ, but there is almost no doubt in my mind AJ Styles will win in this final encounter.

Bully Ray vs. Austin Aries

I hate scandal storylines. They are just terrible. Now TNA has stuck two great guys in Austin Aries and Bully Ray into a scandal involving Brooke Hogan. I am a huge fan of both of these guys and it really kills me inside whenever two great guys with great personas are being used in scandals. The only upside is that A-Double has been hilarious in this storyline. So many Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan jokes. This one is really tough for me to predict. I believe this one could go either way, but I am going to say Austin Aries.

Aces & Eights vs. Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Wes Brisco, and Garett Bischoff

I really like the fact TNA is using Garett Bischoff. He is one of those really underutilized members of the TNA roster that could potentially be a breakout star. I’d recommend watching him in this matchup. As for Wes Brisco, I wasn’t impressed during his Gutcheck match, but hopefully he improves in this one. This match could be good, but I feel as if it will be a bust. I honestly don’t know why, I just have that feeling. But my prediction is Aces & Eights takes a win from some for of interference or dirty tactic.

Bobby Roode vs. Jeff Hardy - World Heavyweight Championship

I am a HUGE Bobby Roode fan. Like, he is one of my favorite wrestlers today. He has amazing mic skills and is great in the ring. His match with James Storm at Bound for Glory was amazing. In my opinion, the best match that I’ve seen this year (I started watching again in May). Now he is taking on Jeff Hardy, who I despise. I really want Bobby Roode to win, as he is a great champion, while Hardy isn’t a good champion. He is truly only fun to watch in ladder matches or some variant. I’d really like Roode to win, but this is easily going to be a win for Hardy. Thanks for reading my blog.
